Have you been learning German
for months or even years,
but speaking still feels difficult?
That can be frustrating,
but it's also completely normal.
Most German learners spend a lot more time studying German
with apps and in courses
than actually speaking it.
At work they often use English and at home they speak their native language.
In our lessons, you'll get regular speaking practice, expand your vocabulary, receive personalised feedback, and build the confidence you need to communicate more naturally in German.
Prepare for a German Exam
Preparing for a German exam can be stressful,
especially when it comes to the speaking and writing sections.
Many learners know the language well enough to pass, but they're not sure what to expect in the exam or how to present their ideas clearly under pressure.
In the lessons, we practise those skills.
We'll work on speaking tasks, writing tasks, typical exam formats,
and strategies that can help you feel more confident and prepared on exam day.
German for Work
Many of my students use German at work every day, but still don't feel completely confident when speaking.
Maybe you work in IT, engineering, healthcare, finance, customer service, or another professional field. You understand a lot, but explaining your ideas, participating in discussions, or speaking spontaneously can still be challenging.
In our lessons, we'll focus on the language you actually need for your job. We'll work on speaking, professional vocabulary, and real workplace situations so that you can communicate more confidently and naturally in German.
Focus on the problems you have
Many learners have one or two topics that seem to cause problems over and over again.
Maybe it's word order. Maybe it's cases. Maybe it's prepositions. You've studied it before, but somehow it still doesn't feel natural.
If that's the case, we'll focus on exactly those areas and work through them together until they finally make sense.

My name is Thomas, and I have been teaching German since 2018.
I work with learners from around the world and focus on practical communication, exam preparation, and German for work.
Here's How It Works
In the booking section below, you can choose between 30-minute and 60-minute lessons.
You can book individual lessons or lesson packages. Packages of 5, 10, and 20 lessons are available, with a lower price per lesson.
You'll also be able to see my current availability directly in the booking calendar. All times are automatically displayed in your local time zone.
After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with your Google Meet link and all the information you need for your lesson.
That's it - simply join the lesson at the scheduled time and we'll get started.
